Shelter Cove
This well-developed shopping area is home to a surprising amount of wildlife activity. Adjacent to the parking lot is a pond with a small gazebo to observe the variety of wading birds as well as the occasional hawks and generalist songbirds soaring over the fields. Walking around the pond, you find yourself on a path along the marsh edge where gulls and shorebirds may be seen foraging the mud flats before you find yourself in adjacent small parks that provide species that may be less social than those found in the main park.
